No. We don’t actually drive the trucks or fly the planes – we just know all the schedules and rates, and have the technology that allows you to price, ship, track, and manage your shipments on line.

How do I customize a shipment?
If you have special needs and don’t see a shipping option that fills those needs, simply click on the “Customize Shipping Options” button when that becomes available. Examples of when you might want to customize a shipment:
- If you have a time-definite need, you can state exactly when you want your package picked up and delivered, even if it falls outside of regularly scheduled delivery runs.
- If you have a multi-stop shipment (e.g., ship my package from point A to point B to point C and back to point A).
- If you have an oversize, heavy, or fragile item that requires special handling.
Can I track a package even if I didn’t use SunConnect to
ship it?
Yes. As long as it was shipped with a major carrier and you know the tracking number, we can track it for you. You can also track multiple shipments from multiple carriers all from our one site.
Is my package insured?
Yes, just like other national package and express delivery services, your package is insured by the SunConnect delivery company partner, generally up to $50, from the time it is picked up to the time it is dropped off. You can increase the value of this coverage by stating a declared value when you place the order.
How do I get my carrier company listed on SunConnect?

Is the information I provide on SunConnect private and
secure?
Yes. We take your privacy very seriously and take several measures to ensure the security of your information. First, every SunConnect user must log on to the site with a unique user name and password to access any private information. Furthermore, all information relating to addresses, shipping history, etc., that is transferred over the Internet is encrypted using a 40-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. Finally, SunConnect adheres to a strict privacy policy developed by Trust-e, an independent, non-profit organization established to ensure Internet privacy.
